Room to Discover is an educator-led startup that is redefining professional learning for teachers. We believe that both students and teachers deserve high-quality, interactive learning experiences. Our workshops, coaching, and resources help educators increase engagement, achievement, and deep learning.

We are currently seeking experienced educators to join our network of expert consultants who deliver engaging and transformative online workshops and instructional coaching.

Educational Consultant Qualifications

The right candidate for this position has extensive experience and expertise in classroom teaching, instructional coaching, and public speaking:

• Minimum 5 years classroom teaching experience, 10 years preferred
• Masters degree in education or related field
• Experience presenting at education conferences and/or workshops
• Experience and expertise in teaching adult learners
• Proficient with online learning technology, including Zoom, Google Meet, Google Suite, and Google for Education
• Understanding of current research and trends in education

Educational Consultant Responsibilities

Our educational consultants provide world-class professional learning experiences via online workshops and coaching. All materials, slideshows, training, and required online tools will be provided.

• Deliver online workshops and coaching to educators
• Attend all required paid training sessions
• Create logs and submit invoices for work completed
• Exercise professionalism in all interactions with teachers, school leaders, and coworkers
• Support Room to Discover’s mission and exhibit company values throughout all work experiences

Compensation

Consultants are paid a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. All work is done on an independent contractor basis (1099). All training and administrative duties are compensated at training rate. Consultants have access to free online learning experiences and Room to Discover resources for the duration of their contract.
